Photographic Exhibitions

In Kerry Library exhibitions have always played a huge role in our programming and outreach work. Through the years exhibitions have attracted large numbers of people through our doors and allowed us to showcase the work that we do as well as highlight the outstanding work of local artists, writers, photographers and community groups.

The Kenmare Carnival in 1961

Throughout the month of May, Kenmare Library will host a photographic exhibition of photos from the 1961 Kenmare Carnival. Featuring the fairground rides, the tiny tots races, the donkey derby and rolling the penny, these photos capture the joy and excitement of the carnival from years gone by. 

​Kenmare Library is open Tuesday- Thursday from 10am -5.00pm. and on Fridays & Saturdays 10am-1.30pm & 2.30pm-5.00pm.
