National Play Day 2026 |
Kerry County Council’s Community Team, working in partnership with Kerry Library Service, is delighted to announce an expanded programme of activities for National Play Day 2026, taking place between 4–12 July. This year’s theme, “Play for All”, celebrates the power of play to foster individual development, development through play within community spaces, and create vibrant, inclusive public spaces amongst the counties wonderful Libraries.
Thanks to the Department of Children, Disability and Equality’s provision of National Play Day funding, Kerry County Council will deliver additional play sessions across the library network, enhancing the already popular Play provision available to children and young people.
