Children will create their own Stuck artwork. We will read the book, Stuck by Oliver Jeffers, then talk about the different items that have been stuck, and ask what else could have got stuck in the tree?
Children will be asked to roughly sketch out some ideas of what’s Stuck. We will then show how they can recreate some ideas on fresh paper (coloured/textured or plain) using your choice of media - markers/twistables/watercolours. They will then draw a Tree. Drawings/paintings can then be cut out and Collaged (Stuck) onto the Tree.

Everyone has seen bunnies hop-hop-hopping around! But have they ever seen where the bunnies are bouncing to? Or what they like to bury? In this workshop, children will discover a whole new magical world, right beneath their feet. They will have to follow the bunnies, if they want to discover what the bunnies can teach them? But what will the children be willing to leave behind, to keep the bunnies secret? By focusing on character and scene development, the children will master their storytelling skills, while picking up Maeve's top tips!
